Delete your Spoily account

From the app (immediate)
- Open Spoily and go to the Profile tab.
- Tap Edit profile.
- Scroll to Danger zone and tap Delete account.
- Enter your password and confirm.
Your account is deleted straight away and you are signed out.
By email
If you can no longer sign in, email [email protected] from the address linked to your account, with the subject “Delete my Spoily account” and your username. We will confirm the request came from you and delete the account within 30 days.
What gets deleted
Everything linked to your account is permanently deleted:
- your account details (username, email, password hash) and profile (display name, bio, profile photo);
- your watchlist and watched episodes;
- your reviews, ratings, comments and likes;
- your lists;
- who you follow and who follows you, the users you blocked, and the reports you sent.
Deletion can’t be undone. Encrypted database backups kept by our hosting provider expire on a rolling basis, after which no copy remains. Short-lived server logs (IP address and request details) are deleted automatically by our hosting provider’s log retention. See the privacy policy for details.
